Omega 72g1100KV Outrunner Brushless Motor
The Omega 72g1100KV motor is a great choice for your parkflyer aerobatic aircraft. Offering up to 425 peak watts of 3D power at a weight of only 72 grams, it will give great vertical to your 35 oz. and under 3D plane using a 3S 1320-2200mah pack.
Depending on your battery pack performance, either an 11x5.5 or a 12x6 prop is appropriate for 3D flight, where power bursts are relatively short and give some opportunity for cooldown. For sport applications where full throttle is used for long periods, a 10x5 prop is recommended.

I opted to go with one of these on my new 41" Edge. It turned out to be an excellent choice. With this little motor turning an 11X5.5" APC prop, my Edge will break ground in less than 10' and it will accelerate straight up until it's an orange dot against the blue sky. I heartily recommend it. |
