48" Edge 540

The 48" Edge 540 developed by Scott Stoops delivers the ultimate 3d bang for your buck. A serious 48" 3D aircraft capable of using up to 700 watts of power, the 48" is also a perfect first balsa 3D plane. It offers extremely stable 3D flight, precise handling, excellent tumbling and spinning performance, and the durability you need to perfect your 3D skills.

The 48" Edge uses a carbon wing tube, giving you the convenince of removable wings for easy transport.
It uses spring-steel wire landing gear so that a poor landing will not send you home - even a true "splat" landing won't cause any damage.

Hacker A30-12L

Note: Long servo arms are not strictly necessary on most setups, but can make setup easier. See manual for more info.

	Absolutely love it!
	It 3D's like a beast. It's post-stall characteristics are so forgiving and predictable it's hard not to fall in love with it. It feels very light and nimble, yet flies with a lot of energy at the same time. It's super light and floaty on a 3S setup, but throw a 4S on there and it becomes one of the most violently awesome planes I've flown. The straight front edge practically kills tip stalling. The plane is so stable, upright and inverted, everyone should have one!

	Amazing
	I had the 47" Edge and absolutely love it. The 48" shares all the best 3D traits of the old Edge but adds precision flying to the mix. Build was straight forward, plane and parts were typical 3DHS quality. Great job 3DHS

	The plane makes the pilot
	This is my third small 3DHS plane. I have the 42" slick and the 47" edge. I also have numerous other "3D" planes from other makers. The 3DHS planes are by far the best. No matter what you can do with another plane, you can do it better with a 3DHS plane.

	Possibly the "perfect "plane
	This was my first 3DHobbyShop plane. It will not be my last! I have been flying aerobatic 41 to 48 inch of other brands. None of them are to be compared to my 3D edge 540. Build was simple and not long, due in part to perfect fittings of every piece in the box.
