103" Extra 330SC

The 103” Extra, developed by Scott Stoops, is the perfect 35% Extra. Very light, very strong, very long, this Extra has all the performance traits you are looking for in one package. It is light, at 23-27 lbs., so unlike some 35% aircraft on the market, it has real vertical performance on 100-111CC. It has the right amount of wing area to give stable, confident performance, along with the right control surface area and airfoil design to deliver crisp and precise snaps.

The highly refined aerodynamic design gives very low knife-edge coupling, which needs little or no mixing. The included parts and features provide extreme performance and real value – carbon landing gear, carbon tailwheel, carbon wing tube, dual carbon stab tubes, wing and stab bags, 2 piece cowl, pre-finished canopy hatch, aluminum braced motor box, 4-40 ball link hardware, phenolic horns, pre-hinged wings and stabs, aluminum wheel hubs, and more.

The 103” Extra has a radically stiffened aileron design to allow the use of either 2 or 1 aileron servos per aileron. This Extra also has a high-deflection elevator design to allow radical throw for hardcore freestyle performance. 3D flight is extremely easy with the 103”.

The 103” Extra is intended for 100-111CC twin gas engines, but can also use the DA-85 single cylinder engine. With the 85, expect weights 23-24lbs. Da-85mounting spacer is included in the kit. Canister mounts for MTW TD-75 twin canisters or TD-110K single canister are included.

If you want to go electric, the 103” Extra is perfectly matched with the Hacker A100-8, Castle ICE 160HV ESC, and 12S 10,000mah lipo with a 27x10TH prop.

	The flight characteristics of the 103 are unbelievable the plane flys so light, and tracks vary smooth. You can go from smooth strait line flight (like IMAC) to hard core 3D. I was comfortable with this plane in under a min into my first flight, and to me that is saying a lot as I have never had a plane this big and thought I would be so scared to fly the plane as it was so big. To my amazement, know when I go to the field the 103 is the first plane that I grab.

	103 awsomeness
	My Extra went together faster than some parkflyers! The maiden flight was amazing, I had her down on the deck in the 1st 2 minutes, no worries. Authoritative and smooth on all axis, this plane just feels right. Light and floaty with my old style DA100. For me, it's perfect mix of precision and 3D flight. Thanks 3DHS!

	Amazing 85cc to 120cc Freestyle Plane
	I have 100+ flights on my DLE 111 powered 103" Extra and love it just as much as the first day. It has extremely low wing loading and great power at 5200ft alt. on a 100cc and above. It flies very stable 3D and precision all in one flight. Very easy to track on the red scheme and a fantastic looking and flying plane. You'll get compliments and plane envy from others at the field.

	103" Extra
	I've had the 103" Extra for 6 months and it's by far the best plane I've owned. I went with the DLE-111 which is a perfect for the 103 - gobs of power and very floaty. On low rates the plane is a breeze to fly however on high rates it's a 3D monster - tumbles, snaps, water falls, KE spins, flat spins, the 103 does it all. I’ve had top notch Free Style pilots as well as fellow club members who have never flown Giant Scale gassers fly my plane and none of them were disappointed.
